Computer Systems Analyst (Fairfax, Virginia) (multiple positions).
Review user requirements to automate and improve Venio’s system capabilities. Analyze
information processing or computation needs and plan and design computer systems. Respond to
customer needs and support the application and applets add-ons to meet specific system
requirements. Assess the usefulness of application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
Document all customer requests to ensure system applications meet their needs. Communicate
with clients on a weekly basis and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to
automate or improve existing system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Analyze
different third-party tools and SDKs for integration such as Oracle Outside-In Technologies,
Nuance OCR Toolkit, Apache Lucene, Black Ice Virtual Printers. Analyze systems for e-discovery
or related applications. Analyze business processing problems to implement and improve
computer systems. Study existing systems for effectiveness and develop systems to improve
Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Computer Engineering, or a related field, and two (2) years in the job offered or a related position
analyzing .Net-based e-discovery solutions; or in the alternate, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign
equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related
field, and five (5) years in the job offered or a related position analyzing .Net-based e-discovery
solutions. Must have two (2) years of experience in each: 1) Languages: C# and C; 2) Databases:
MSQL, TSQL, and SQL Optimization; 3) .Net application build automation using MS-Build 4)
Nuance OCR toolkit, Black Ice Virtual Printer, Apache Lucene and Oracle Outside-In
Technologies; 5) E-Discovery software domain, Early Case Assessment, Linear review,
Technology assisted review.
