    04Who each platform fits

Every platform here is the right answer for someone.

A fair shortlist names the trade-offs. Here is when each option makes sense, and when Venio does.

    Relativity fits

    Relativity

Teams already standardized on RelativityOne, with certified admins and a service partner who runs it for them.

    Watch for

On-premises Relativity Server ends for new matters on January 1, 2028.

    See the full comparison
    Everlaw fits

    Everlaw

Cloud-first teams that want browser-based collaboration and published government cloud authorizations.

    Watch for

No on-premises or air-gapped option when data must stay inside your walls.

    See the full comparison
    Nuix fits

    Nuix

Forensic and investigations teams with specialist operators processing very large, complex data sets.

    Watch for

Several products and licenses may be needed to cover a matter end to end.

    See the full comparison
    Venio fits

    Venio

Legal teams that want legal hold to production on one platform, deployed where their data must live.

    The trade-off

A smaller partner ecosystem than Relativity.

    Talk to Sales
    05Switching

Moving to Venio keeps your work product.

Each Bridge ingests standard load files and carries your tags, coding and redactions across, with no per-GB ingestion fees during the move. Every migration runs with validation, audit logging and chain-of-custody tracking.

    Relativity Bridge

    From Relativity

    • .DAT and .OPT load files ingested natively
    • Coding, tags and redactions retained; redactions carried as a native overlay
    • Keep your existing workspaces during the transition
Venio vs Relativity, the full head-to-head →
    Everlaw Bridge

    From Everlaw

    • Projects, tags, labels and coding ingested; storyboard notes and deposition designations carried over
    • Parallel run available: use both platforms during the transition
    • A readiness assessment confirms exactly what transfers before you commit
Venio vs Everlaw, the full head-to-head →
    Nuix Bridge

    From Nuix

    • Nuix case exports ingested directly, extracted metadata preserved
    • Tags, coding and redactions kept without a full re-process in most cases
    • Most migrations complete in 2 to 4 weeks
Venio vs Nuix, the full head-to-head →

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Venio's eDiscovery platform

How was the capability chart scored?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Venio’s product team rated each capability from 1 to 5 in June 2025. It is Venio’s own assessment, not an independent test. Use it to shortlist, then have each vendor prove its scores live.

Can we test Venio on our own data before buying?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Yes. Bring a real data set to a 20-minute walkthrough and we process, review and produce it live. Teams switching platforms can also have one real workspace from their current platform ingested before any commitment, coding, tags and redactions included. Book the walkthrough →

    What does Venio cost?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Pricing is instance-based with all features included: one price for the platform, not per gigabyte or per feature. Ask for a quote for your volumes on the pricing page.

Does Relativity still offer on-premises eDiscovery?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Relativity Server still supports existing matters. From January 1, 2028, Relativity requires new matters to be hosted on RelativityOne, with limited exceptions.

    Can Everlaw be deployed on-premises?

    keyboard_arrow_down

No. Everlaw runs as a cloud service on AWS. It publishes SOC 2 Type 2 and FedRAMP Moderate authorization for teams that can use the cloud.

    Which platforms support hybrid deployment?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Venio runs one platform across cloud, on-premises and hybrid. Nuix offers SaaS, customer-hosted cloud and on-premises options. Everlaw is cloud only.

How long does a move to Venio take?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Cloud environments go live in under 48 hours. On-premises deployments typically take four to six weeks. Data migration time depends on volume and active matters; most Nuix migrations complete in 2 to 4 weeks.

Is the one-page comparison sheet the same as this chart?

    keyboard_arrow_down

Same scores, same four platforms. The sheet lists 65 rows; the chart merges two duplicates into 63. The sheet is the printable version to share with a committee. Get the sheet ↑

Bring a real data set. We process, review and produce it live in 20 minutes. Your data, our platform, no demo set.
